I forgot my passcode. What do I do?

When you first set up StashCache, you were given a 12-character recovery phrase (like ABCD-EFGH-IJKL). On the lock screen, tap "Forgot Passcode?" and enter your recovery phrase to reset it.

Important: If you've lost both your passcode and recovery phrase, there is no way to recover your data. StashCache is completely offline and we have no access to your information.

Can I transfer my data to a new phone?

Yes! Go to Settings → Export Full Backup to create a backup file of all your items and photos. You can then share this file with your new device and import it.

Does StashCache require internet?

No. StashCache works 100% offline. All your data is stored on your phone. You don't need Wi-Fi, cellular data, or any internet connection to use it.

Is my data stored in the cloud?

No. StashCache does not use any cloud services. Your items, photos, and settings are stored exclusively on your device. We never upload, sync, or share your data.

How do I add a new location?

Go to Settings → Manage Locations. From there you can create, rename, or delete storage locations (e.g., "Garage", "Shed", "Kitchen Drawer").

Can I change the app language?

Yes. StashCache supports English, Hebrew, and Arabic. Go to Settings → Language and select your preferred language.
