The Short Version

StashCache is a completely offline app. Your data never leaves your phone. We don't collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Period.

Data Collection

StashCache does not collect any data. Specifically:

• No personal information (name, email, phone number)
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No location data
• No advertising identifiers
• No crash reports sent to external servers

Data Storage

All data you enter into StashCache — item names, photos, locations, notes — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage (SQLite database and device file system). Nothing is uploaded to any server or cloud service.

Camera & Photo Access

StashCache may request access to your camera and photo library. This access is used solely to:

• Take photos of items you want to track
• Select existing photos from your gallery to attach to items

Photos are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted externally.

Security

StashCache uses a local passcode and optional recovery phrase to protect your data. These credentials are stored securely on your device using the operating system's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android). We have no ability to access, reset, or recover your passcode or data.

Third-Party Services

StashCache does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data processing services.

Children's Privacy

StashCache does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since we don't collect any data at all, this is inherently satisfied.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Given that StashCache collects no data, changes are unlikely.
